Проект Агентства США з міжнародного розвитку (USAID) «Агросільрозвиток» шукає спеціаліста з Global GAP. Дедлайн - 20 квітня 2017 р. (далі - англ.).

The USAID Agriculture and Rural Development Support (ARDS) Project is a four-year, $20 million effort to that supports broad-based, resilient economic growth through a more inclusive, competitive, and better-governed agriculture that provides attractive livelihoods in rural areas of Ukraine.

Position Description

The Global GAP Specialist helps to implement of the technical tasks of the project. The Food Safety and Quality Systems Specialist will:

1. Developed and adopted methodological guidelines Global GAP for two associations of producers.
2. 10 enterprises (facilities) introduced procedures based on Global GAP principles, hygienic requirements or, if necessary, requirements of voluntary standards in compliance with developed guidance.

Term of assignment: up to 7 months from the start date of the service agreement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in developing Global GAP systems.
• Experience in preparing guidelines for implementing food safety and quality systems.
• Experience in preparing guidelines for small and medium enterprises is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Strong knowledge of the structure and needs of Ukrainian small and medium-sized producers, their organization and structure, as well as rural development.
• Experience in developing and delivering food safety training courses.
• At least 10 years of working experience in agriculturally focused international technical assistance projects.
• High proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Excellent communication skills.
