The Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting (IER) is looking forhighly motivated professionals to fill the position of

Research Fellow in Economic Analysis and Modelling / Agricultural Economics for employment at the German-Ukrainian Agricultural Policy Dialogue (APD, http://www.apd-ukraine.de/ua/)

We expect:

• University degree in Economics, preferably with background in agriculture
• Strong analytical and presentation skills
• Knowledge of modern economic modelling techniques
• Ability to work under time pressure and meet deadlines
• Readiness to work in a team and as an independent researcher
• High motivation, enthusiasm and commitment
• Fluency in written and spoken Ukrainian
• Sound knowledge of German and fluency in English

Specific professional experience in the following fields will be an advantage:

• Proven ability to work with large databases
• Knowledge of statistical and algebraic software (e.g., R, STATA, GAMS etc.)
• Knowledge of agricultural sector and its regulation in Ukraine
