A 7 day course with 5 days at Boodaville rural permaculture education project in the Matarranya region of Spain and 2 days in Barcelona city. The aim of the course is to explore the use of permaculture ethics and principles to design sustainable, even regenerative ways of living which can be integrated into your own life and your work with young people. 
The first week focuses on the use of resources such as water and soil with practical activities, techniques to encourage learner engagement and participation, and a design project. 
The last 2 days In Barcelona city will focus on sustainable urban living and as well as visits to city gardens and radical community centres, participants will discover alternative education projects. The course will cover some of the content of the Permaculture Design Certificate.
The facilitators on the course include Alessandro Ardovini, permaculture expert and teacher who is currently finishing his diploma, Kate Curtis, eco-educator with 9 years experience working with youth including teaching PDCs, deep ecology and life design, and Anna Gurney, founder of Boodaville with 13 years experience teaching and running practical projects with young people. 
Evening activities and cultural exchanges will be organised to ensure the program is fun and that participants get to know each other well.
